It is funny when you start to grow-up and find yourself and your siblings/friends/cousins etc. now living as adults. You have jobs, new hobbies, co-workers and experiences outside of your family circle. You start to look back on old photos and read old papers, letters or craft projects you did as a child and have that moment of "I remember when....." Sometimes life feels really deficient. Where you can feel trapped. I think this is highlighted when growing pains are kicking your butt. I don't mean physical growing pains, I mean the growing of self and being aware that you might have over stayed your welcome in a place, or relationship, etc. This deficiency that you feel with life, work, and people doesn't always allow you to make the best decisions. So, deep into my seasonal depression I decided that the only way to really get through all of the feelings and emotions I was having was to write about it.
